Selina graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2021. She went on to complete a post-baccalaureate certification program in Speech Language Pathology and is now in the process of applying to graduate programs in Communication Disorders. She aspires to, one day, be a pediatric speech therapist.
From a young age, Selina has been passionate about working with children and joined Whiting Woods Montessori to diversify her work experience. Prior to joining Whiting Woods, Selina was a part of UC Irvine’s Diversity in Medicine and UC Irvine’s Healthy Mom and Baby Study. After learning about the numerous disparities in healthcare from her coursework and experience, Selina is determined to change outdated systems and practices in the future.
Outside of her professional life, Selina enjoys spending time with her three dogs (Maci, Coco, and Mushu), traveling, reading, and playing tennis. She loves working with all her students and watching them grow!
