Alexander Applegate

Alexander Applegate was raised in the nearby city of La Canada Flintridge; he attended Middle and High School at La Cańada High School alongside his wife and co-founder, Rebecca Applegate.

Alexander has been working with children for ten years including raising his daughters and teaching at Whiting Woods Montessori. 

He holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Pasadena City College and is currently working towards certification in Early Childhood Education from UCLA. He is also working on his Montessori certification from the North American Montessori Center, for ages 3-6 years, to further expand his knowledge of Montessori principles which he may utilize in the classroom. 

One of his fascinating hobbies is building LEGO! Take a look at the garage over at Whiting Woods Montessori and see all his creations. His students are often enthralled by his ability to create such intricate and large designs!
